Meet Heather
Mind the Bird Media hatched in 2015 from the mind of founder Heather Brown. Heather is a seasoned educator and natural networker with a deep-seated passion for meaningful results. Exceptional with all things outreach and organization, Heather’s favorite projects live at the intersection of daily details and big-picture strategies.
After working for years to build a database of contacts that reflects her network of relationships in the literary world, Heather began developing systems to bring data and tasks together into actionable workflows, amplifying her efforts and adding a bird’s-eye view. In 2021, Brown Bird Consulting took flight.
Heather is driven by her belief in the far-reaching impact of single, communicative acts, and she loves creating systems that streamline, using data to tell a story, and organizing information into useful containers.
